You are invited to participate in a supply drive for the Southwest Missouri Humane Society, if you wish. They DO NOT need dog or cat food, as they get their food
supplies donated from Hill’s Science Diet, but they do have a wish list posted on their
website:

Some highlights include: various office supplies, cleaning supplies, non-clumping cat litter, pet supplies such as leashes, collars, toys and treats, as well as Wal-Mart and gasoline gift cards. There is also a page where you can donate online directly to the Humane Society. If you do this, please be sure to note that your donation comes from the efforts of the SHELL group. Thank you!

You are encouraged to talk to friends and family and gather donations from anyone and
everyone you know who are animal lovers and would like to support this worthy cause.

We’re working on setting up a day to take the donations to the Human Society and
possibly get a tour of the facilities, for whoever may be interested in attending. Bring your
collected donations to the Winter Holiday Celebration on the 4th and we’ll have the final
details on delivery then.

On the upper left side of the screen, there is a box titled Meta.

Please click on Register and add the user name you prefer to use and your email address. The system will email you an automatically generated password with a link to log in.

Edited to add: Spam filters seem to be eating these emails. They come instantly so if you don’t have it within a minute or two, check your spam box. If you still don’t have it contact us to have it reset.

Upon logging in for the first time, go to your profile and change the password to one you can remember. I would recommend that you use the same one that you use for the Shell Yahoo Group to make it easier. Once you are logged in, you will no longer see the Register link. I had to get the screenshot above using a different computer.

Once you are registered you will be able to leave comments on articles here. If you would like to add articles yourself please contact us so that we can change your status to an author.

More instructions for writing articles, etc. will be posted over the next few days.
